Vice Presidency of Constructions and Civil Development

The Islamic Azad University has over several hundred campuses throughout the country and abroad. It attracts over 50% of students at the national level. The Islamic Azad University owns over 100,000,000 square meters of land, and thus the area per student is around 91 square meters. The Islamic Azad University is a top level, non-profit university, that places a priority on academic development, and student welfare. To provide sufficient academic space for students, the Islamic Azad University Vice Presidency of Construction, and Civil Development develops construction and civil projects. The section is responsible for the provision of planning and building construction projects. There are several sub-divisions in this Vice-Presidency such as:

The Technical Committee that determines and executes policies concerning civil projects, taking into consideration the requirements of the Islamic Azad University.

The Department of Technical and Construction Affairs which is in charge of proper implementation of construction and civil operations. In this department, there is a section called the Office of Technical and Consumption Provisions which provides construction and technical materials required by the Islamic Azad University's campuses.

The Department of Civil Projects that determines general policies and goals of the Islamic Azad University's civil and construction developments. It is concerned with the university's campuses throughout the country.

The Department of Real Estate whose duty of is to collect data and take necessary measures in the Islamic Azad University's campuses and estates.
