The Islamic Azad University (IAU) – Lebanon branch officially started its activities in 1990.
The efforts made by the authorities of the both countries, Iran and Lebanon, led into setting up this international branch in Lebanon.
The IAU, in this branch, offers 22 courses through 5 campuses in different levels of studies. The mentioned courses include, theology and Islamic education, educational sciences, political sciences, and computer engineering.
